Bears, Buffet, and Santa

Today, we went to Elgin Country Club with Amanda, Nick, Sophia, Dan, Nicole, and Molly. We got to stuff a bear, have brunch, and sit on Santa's lap. Most of the kids were scared of Santa, but Luca was indifferent. He's not old enough to be scared of anything yet, so next year there may be no pictures of him sitting on Santa's lap. I love doing these things with my family even if Luca isn't old enough to know what's going on. He did, however, like the stuffing that was suppose to go into the bear and Santa's beard. Thanks Amanda and Nick for inviting us!

Luca had his first Thanksgiving, and he loved the turkey, mashed potatoes, and sweet potatoes. Max and I are really thankful that we have our little Luca!

Today we celebrated the twins' birthday. It was at Safari Land, and as you can see from the pictures below, I think that the adults had more fun than the kids. I was only able to get pictures of Niko, because someone else was holding Luka.

Again, the adults had way for fun than the kids.

You know, today, I had to treat my husband like a little kid, because he did not want to leave right away. So I started off by saying, "okay Max, we are leaving in twenty minutes." Five minutes later: "okay, Max we are leaving in fifteen minutes." "Okay, we are leaving in ten minutes." " Okay eight." "Okay five." Okay three more minutes." Okay sixty seconds."

Today, Luca is ten months old. Yay! He is officially crawling and saying Mama, Dada, and some other baby gibberish. He can now drink from a sippy cup. And, on occasion, he will stand for a short period of time. Luca had his first cold this month, and it was miserable for everyone involved. Even though he is ten months, he is wearing 12 - 18 month clothing.

Today, we went to the Bears' game. Scratch that statement...we went to go watch the Bears' game at Buffalo Wild Wings. Isn't that the same thing? Sorry, I'm just a little bitter, because I haven't been to a Bears' game yet. Booooooooo!

Today we went to Sunny Acres. It was a rough night in the Milinkovich household that morning. Our son decided he wanted to be a newborn again and wake up in the middle of the night for his bottle. And, NO...this was not the first time he woke up in the middle of the night. He likes to test us and make sure we are on our toes from time to time. So, like the doctor always tells us: Do not give him a bottle! Do not pick him up! Let him cry it out! Well, we did just what she told us, and two hours later, Luca was sleeping again. That morning, he was as happy as can be playing with all of his toys, but Max and I, on the other hand, were not doing so well.

Tired as we were, we were still going to make the excursion to Sonny Acres. I love doing all of this stuff with my family. It really is fun for me.
