I know this looks obsessive, but it truly IS OBSESSIVE. I think that one test just isn't enough confirmation for me. Okay, so I did get a box that had three tests in it, so that's not that obsessive, because it had an expiration date on it; therefore, I had to use them. The other two were from a different box just to make sure the first set wasn't a bad batch. Can you say Type A?

Marta and I were planning on taking the kids to Brookfield Zoo today, but the more we thought about the drama of driving there, parking, and walking to get inside, the more Cosely Zoo looked like a better choice. The kids had a blast; they really loved the animals.

Happy birthday Uncle Pat and Auntie Dana! My brother and sister share the same birthday, and they are eight years apart. My sister Dana calls her and my brother Earth twins. I have no idea what that even means but okay. Dana wasn't able to make it to lunch, but we celebrated in her honor.

So a bunch of us get together either on Tuesdays or Thursdays for a playdate, and this time, I hosted it. I brought a water table out for the kids and filled a bucket of water for them to do as they please. Maja decided she was going to go for a swim considering it was hot outside.

Yes, today I found out we were going to have baby #2. It's hard to tell by the blurred picture, but that is a positive. Don't worry, with my Type A personality, I will be taking more tests just to confirm.


Max and I decided months ago that we wanted to grow our family, but we wanted to make sure our prince was settled before we moved on. That means: Max and I needed him to be consistent with sleeping before we could even think about adding another that would be high maintainance in the sleep department.


Needless to say, we are overly excited! Although, this time around, I'm not that excited about showing off my growing belly, but I will.
