Sorry I haven't updated my blog in a while, but we have been so busy the past couple months. I will try to play catch up with the pictures and videos.
We went to Woodfield Mall to visit the Easter Bunny. I was really afraid that Luca was going to be scared of him, but instead he had a lot of fun, as you can see by the smile on his face. We were trying to get him to look at the camera, but he kept on poking the Easter Bunny's teeth. Now, come to think of it, we should have gotten a picture of him messing with the teeth. It would have been a funnier memory.

15 Months of Pure Bliss
Tuesday, April 12, 2011 Luca is two days shy of turning 15 months, but he had his doctor's appointment, and he is still a ginormous baby. He is weighing in at a whopping 28 pounds 11 ounces, which puts him in the 90th percentile for weight. He is 2 feet 11 inches and off the charts for height. His head, contrary to popular belief, is only in the 50th percentile. His vocabulary is strengthening every day with new words. He is starting to put two words together like no no, uh oh, bye bye, not nice, etc... I do have to say that he is definitley a big snuggler. Sometimes, when I am sitting on the floor with him, he will run up and hug me for a minute, actually it's probably really only 10 seconds that he does that. Temper tantrums have become more frequent, but we are ingnoring them to the best of our ability. Since the weather has been nice, he has been enjoying playing outside, which is where some of the tantrums stem from. Luca does not like to come inside!

Bahama Mama
Thursday, April 7, 2011 to Monday, April 11, 2011 Max won a trip to the Bahamas from his work, so I am happy to add Bahamas to my list of places I have gone. We stayed at the Atlantis Hotel, and it was amazing. We did not bring Luca, but next time we go there, we are definitely bringing him. There is so much for kids to do at the Atlantis. There is one downside to going there, and that is that there are no direct flights from chicago. And when you are not one who likes to fly it could cause some temporary anxiety. Not only did I have anxiety from flying, but Max also had anxiety just from being next to me on the airplane. I have a funny story, or at least I think it's funny. If you look at the last picture on this post, you will see a somewhat blurred picture of Pauly D from The Jersey Shore. Yes, that is him. Our last night's dinner we ate a Casa d'angelo, and next to us eating was Pauly D. A couple of the woman went up to him and asked him for a picture, which he denied. I was determined to get a picture for my friends. Do you like how I said for my friends? Alright, it was for me. Next to me was a flowering bush that was a decor in the restaurant. I planned to use that bush to conceal my inevitable determination to get a picture. I pushed the branches in the middle of the bush aside and hid there until I got a good view of Pauly D. I was so proud of myself at the time, and now that I look at that picture, it's not that great. I wish I had one of his face.
